Take only memories, leave only footprints

- Chief Seattle

From childhood on, my parents passed me their passion and curiosity for our beautiful planet. They taught me to observe, enjoy, and learn (and golly, how much have we still to learn).
Nature with its gorgeous flora and fauna is my biggest inspiration all day, every day.

Nature Illustrations by Miriam Bos

This collection of nature-themed illustrations highlights the beauty and charm of our planet. From curious animals and leafy forests to delicate plants, landscapes, and seasonal scenes, I try to add my feelings of deep appreciation for everything that grows, moves, and lives outdoors (and occasionally indoors).

As an illustrator, I’m continually inspired by everything in nature, from wildlife and weather to trees, fungi, birds, flowers, and insects. My nature illustrations range from imaginative forest scenes and botanical elements to (sometimes quirky) animal characters to nature-inspired pattern designs. Whether it’s a soft woodland setting, a playful fox among the snow, or an abstract tree bursting with color, I aim to capture the life and wonder of the world around us.

I use both traditional and digital techniques in my work, often combining paint, pencil, and crayon to create illustrations with interesting textures and a handmade feel. Each piece is shaped by my love for organic forms and bold color palettes.

My nature illustrations have appeared in children’s books, wall art, stationery, surface design collections, and educational materials. They’re a good fit for projects that require color, imagination, and a strong connection to the outdoors, whether in editorial, games, or home decor.

If you’re looking for custom nature-inspired artwork or want to collaborate on an illustration project, feel free to get in touch. I’d love to hear from you.
