Jennifer Nelson Artists

It’s been a while since I last updated.
Mostly because I have been quite busy after Surtex, but also because I was sitting on a little bit of information that I couldn’t share up until now!
I am SUPER excited to tell you that I am now represented by?Jennifer Nelson Artists agency.?HURRAY! ??????

Some of you might remember that I went to Surtex in NY, May this year.
It was a really great experience to go there solo (I’ve been with the Forest Foundry Collective 2 times before). My sweet husband was there with me as well, and I was happy he stood by my side.
After the show, I’ve had several commissions and I had the chance to meet up with some really great clients! So I think I can say it was a successful event for me.

But the show also lead to something totally unexpected.
When Jennifer approached me, I felt totally flabbergasted (and flattered). We talked about the possibilities of representation and I was, of course, interested.
Though, I had to give it some serious thought too. Because here I was, far far away from home, standing in my own booth in the middle of New York city, after spending most of the year preparing for this show. Would that all be for nothing if I joined an agency now? What would this mean for the future? And would I just throw away all my new experiences and contacts after the show? Or would it be the best decision ever?
I guess those are the things you consider before joining an agent. But I am so glad I took the plunge.

First of all, because I think Jennifer is a brilliant sweet lady who knows her business. And second of all, because we clicked and it’s so good to talk with her about art and work.
I think this is going to be a fun new adventure for the both of us. And I am proud that I can now say that am part of?Jennifer Nelson Artists!!
Have a lovely day!?? ?

    Hello, Doei
My name is Michele and I just saw your darling plates and mugs and teapots! SOOOOOOOOOOOO CUTE! Are they for sale in the US. Also, I LOVE your new fabric line that will be coming out based on Secret Garden Book. I will purchase some it to make something sweet for Annabelle. Annabelle is 12.
My son in law is Dutch. His Name is Naud. He moved to Seattle from Netherlands to work for Microsoft and met my daughter in Seattle. I would love to be able to purchase your dishes for my granddaughter Annabelle. I know she would LOVE them.
You have such a delightful lovely whimsical style to your art. It just makes one happy to see it!
    Veil Leifs Michele
